Smart Contract & On-Chain Data
Last updated 5 August 2026
Draft prepared for launch. This page describes how the store will operate once sales open, including card payments through Wert, which are not yet live.
Collection
Contract
The purchase function takes the buyer's wallet as an explicit recipient, the USDC amount and the chosen designId. Wert's proxy approves exactly that amount and calls the function; the contract pulls the USDC straight to the treasury and mints the next edition of that design to the buyer.
Metadata
Metadata contains only artwork, description and traits. No buyer names, emails or other personal data are ever written on-chain.
Card checkout
Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay payments are processed by Wert.io. Every checkout session is signed on our server with our partner signing key; the browser never holds the key, and the smart-contract call, amount and recipient are all covered by that signature. Payment results arrive on a signed webhook at /api/public/webhooks/wert, which links the payment to the order and records the mint transaction.
